Oil, ink and found material. An ongoing study of figures, animals, and the quiet space between them.
Figures held between water and sky, drawn in ink and built in oil.
Three ways of looking at the same gesture. A line is set down in graphite and Indian ink, given weather and a body in paint, then brought into the hand as a small painted object.

The work moves across three registers: oil painting, ink drawing, and small painted sculpture. Recurring figures appear and reappear. Frogs, lovers and solitary animals, each caught mid gesture between falling and floating.
Line comes first. A drawing is a held breath in graphite and Indian ink. The paintings give that line a body, a sky and weather. The objects bring it back into the hand.
